As we prepare for the possibility of winter weather, please take a moment to review our winter weather plan.
Butler Area School District is among the 56 schools, school districts and childhood education centers across 29 counties that was awarded a PA Farm Bill Farm-to-School grant.
Butler Area School District will use this funding to help us expand our fisheries science program, create additional raised beds at several schools and purchase greenhouse supplies for the Community Agricultural Partnership at Summit (CAPS).
Emily Brittain 4th and 5th grade chorus students put up the school's American flag while singing America the Beautiful and the Pledge of Allegiance in honor of Veterans Day.

A very heartfelt thank you to all those who have served our country.
BASD parents, students, staff members and community members are invited to be a part of our Food Service Wellness & Advisory Committee.
Emily Brittain Elementary School's PTO hosted a Pumpkin Party in October.
The Pumpkin Party was a costume event with several stations where families could decorate pumpkin/gourds, participate in some STEAM activities, have dinner and enjoy some pumpkin pie. In addition, the School Spirit store was open, there was a basket raffle, and a drawing to win a pumpkin.
Two Butler Area School District educators have been selected as Outstanding Educators by the William C. Graham Manor Order of Squires organization.
Congratulations to Mrs. Lori Williams, a teacher at the Intermediate High School, and Mrs. Chelsie Tonini, a teacher at Emily Brittain Elementary School.
